Chef Jamie Steinbrecher began his kitchen career working for several chain restaurants while attending college for business management in Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1996. While finishing school he landed a job opening a restaurant with a true scratch kitchen, complete with their own bakery, house made pasta and artisan wood fired pizza. Soon after, he was all in, given a chance to lead a team and promoted to sous chef. In 2001, he moved south to Palm Beach County. For a stint of his career, he worked between Delray and West Palm Beach serving up fresh seafood and authentic Italian fare. In 2005, he seized an opportunity at Okeechobee Steakhouse, a community staple.
Over the next 12 years, as executive chef, Jamie was able to lead the steakhouse kitchen to several local and national accolades, even a spot on the list of Top 15 Steakhouses in the World.
Taking on an exciting new opportunity, Jamie joins the Café Centro team in re- launching the kitchen at Café Centro! The restaurant is located in his own beloved neighborhood of Northwood Village where he will be back to his roots of preparing fresh pasta, gourmet pizzas and a collection of eclectic small plates.
Chef Jamie is well known in Palm Beach County for bringing back and mastering his craft with his amazing selection of Homemade Pastas, Gourmet Pizzas, and collections of Eclectic Small Plates.
Most of all who can deny Chef Jamie's incredible skills when it comes to his nationally acclaimed Steaks and Pork-Chops.
